Klubzmer ist ein Kollektiv: Wir sind 12, 14, 16… Freunde, die die Liebe zu osteuropäischer und Klezmer-Musik teilen und mit wild vergnügten Arrangements und Spielfreude Wärme im kühlen Norden verbreiten. Saiten, Bläser, Streicher, Stimme, Akkordeon, Tuba und Percussion bringen die Luft zum Vibrieren und die Hüften zum Schwingen. Anfangs trafen wir uns einfach wöchentlich zur (von Marco Tabilio gegründeten) Jam-Session im Hamburger Gängeviertel – inzwischen haben wir auf Wohnprojektpartys, in Clubs und auf Straßenfesten reihenweise Menschen jeden Alters zum Tanzen gebracht!

Klubzmer is a collective: We are 12, 14, 16… friends who love Gipsy and Balkan sounds and Klezmer music. With infectious playfulness we spread warmth in cool Northern Germany. Strings, brass, clarinet and flute, accordion and percussion will give you good vibrations and make your hips shake. We started off as a weekly jam session (following the initiative of Marco Tabilio) in Hamburg’s Gängeviertel – by now we have played at birthday feasts and house community celebrations, in music clubs and at street parties, always following our mission to make people of all ages dance!
